Zefiro 1.5 is a machine with a compressed air servo actuator for fatigue testing materials and components. Zefiro, combined with the RTC 9000 control system, is capable of performing force-controlled tests with an accuracy of +/- 1N. There are no limits to force- and displacement-controlled tests; XY graphs allow you to characterize the stiffness of springs, materials, and components. Fatigue testing has never been easier.
Pneumatic actuators for fatigue tests
Air servo actuators, in the 0-400kgf range, are undoubtedly the most maneuverable and easily positioned actuators in a test rig for static or fatigue testing. The actuators are equipped with an integrated magnetostrictive position sensor. Standard bores are 50mm, 63mm, 80mm, 100mm, and 125mm.
